Standard Unit Construction
WARNING:
The Skyline® LP is fabricated from flame- retardant, high- density expanded polystyrene foam. It is the nature of this material to have rough surface imperfections and contain steam vent holes. Some of these imperfections can be partially concealed by a factory paint process. If you are interested in a painted product, RPG® offers a painted version in Duron Multispec Fine Fleck paint. RPG® does not recommend that the Skyline® be painted in the field and assumes no responsibility for any damage resulting from field painting.
Note: All dimensions are allowed a tolerance of ± 1/16" due to material shrinkage and variations.
*Most options merit an increase in pricing compared to the standard unit.
**Due to material availability, RPG® reserves the right to change options at any time. Therefore, any special options—whether listed or not—must be confirmed prior to submittal of P.O. and acceptance verified by RPG® Diffusor Systems, Inc.
Skyline® LP - Expanded Polystyrene Optimized Two Dimensional Primitive Root Diffusor
A The Expanded Polystyrene Optimized Two Dimensional Primitive Root Diffusor shall be the model Skyline® LP as manufactured by RPG® Diffusor Systems, Inc., Upper Marlboro, MD 20774. Tel: 301-249-0044, Fax: 301-249-3912.
B The Expanded Polystyrene Optimized Two Dimensional Primitive Root Diffusor shall be molded from high density Noryl flame-retardant grade high density expanded polystyrene.
C The Expanded Polystyrene Optimized Two Dimensional Primitive Root Diffusor shall work on the two dimensional optimized primitive-root reflection phase grating principle, using an array of rectangular phase blocks. The heights of the phase blocks shall be based on the optimized primitive-root number theory sequence based on prime 157. The diffusing panels can be installed in an optimized, randomized or same orientation.
D Absorption Coefficients and Noise Reduction Coefficient for the product shall be measured according to the test methods as defined by ASTM C 423 and ASTM E 795. Random incidence Absorption Coefficients for the product in an A-mounting shall be as follows:
125Hz |
250Hz |
500Hz |
1000Hz |
2000Hz |
4000Hz |
