The Sound of Silence
Introducing the Resilient Sound Isolation Clip (RSIC-1). A
Breakthrough in sound containment and isolation. The RISC-1
outperforms current sound isolating systems and is creating
a new standard for noise reduction.
The RSIC-1
is a rubber and steel assembly designed to hold 7/8-inch furring
channels (hat track) to isolate the furring channel (hat track)
from the structure, thus breaking the transfer of structure
transmitted noise. It can be used in virtually any wall or
ceiling assembly that uses gypsum wallboard. The most common
application for the RSIC-1 is as a replacement for the resilent
channel, which has been unchanged and used for decades in
ceilings and wall assemblies.
